The paintings in this series speak of the new life I set up in London in 2022, a city shaped by bricks and sky - its architecture dense with memory, its weather shifting like emotion. That contrast became my starting point.
“Life Beneath Intersecting Lines” is about that balance. It’s about what happens when you stand at the edge of what you know and choose to begin again.
This series began around mid 2021 and went through 2022, as our lives started creeping back to pre-pandemic normalcy. The viewer can create their own story, drawing on everything they possibly dreamt or imagined in this past year. These paintings express fantasy, illusion, thoughts, ideas, and all else one may have imagined during their time alone during the pandemic.
This series began in March 2020 soon after the global pandemic entered our lives and put everything as we knew it to be, to a halt.
I created paintings that were a rapid expression of my feelings and emotions, using my imagination and creativity with texture, form, color and technique. These canvases express life and stories

The Canvas and the Subconscious
Whether driven by an inspirational thought, an abstract vision, or a blend of personal and cultural experiences, my expansive canvases embody a heightened expression of my internal world. Every painting evolves directly from the physical and emotional environments I find myself navigating.
The Process
When I approach the canvas, I feel compelled to transcend simple objective representation. My goal is to identify, disassemble, reconstruct, and amplify the essence of a scene, translating it into a catalyst for mental imagery.
Over the years, my journey has moved further away from traditional painters' tools. Instead, I have developed a style largely defined by unconventional techniques that allow me to physically build and mold the surface. Each distinct technique introduces its own unique texture, contributing deeply to the final meaning of the painting.
"In realistic art, the language is spoken directly on the surface. In abstract art, the language belongs entirely to the viewer. The process of creation is the same, but the understanding is beautifully fluid."
By stripping away the literal narrative and expected real-life visuals, my abstract pieces urge the mind to engage at a subconscious level.
Reflection and Evolution
My creative process is a deliberate dialogue with the canvas. I repeatedly step back to appraise the composition from a distance, contemplating the next movement. A single painting can take weeks or even months to reach completion.
As I look at the canvas during production, I absorb and project whatever experiences I am feeling at that exact moment. If I return to the studio the next day, I might interpret that same progress into a completely different emotional language—one tied directly to my immediate feelings. It is an artistic evolution that speaks entirely to the inner self.
What you see in this collection is a curated window into my world over the last decade—an ongoing exploration of fantasy, illusion, and the boundless freedom of the canvas.
