Miniatures

 Some techniques in painting that I have used through the years made better sense to me when I recently started painting on a smaller scale. Working small has given me more time and energy to devote to each painting. From mixing the right palette to the composition, these small paintings have the same attention to detail that my larger paintings had. How I paint them just changed. With these I have been more decisive with color choices and concentrate on defining the tiny space concisely.
